Writing prompts

I didn’t know what to write about for this blog, so I have decided to write a list of writing prompts to look back on when I don’t know what to write. If you were to get a tattoo what would it be of and why would you get it. If you were in charge of the world, what would you do with it. What would you do if you woke up and were invisible to the world for 24 hours. If you were to create your own Frankenstein or monster what would it look like and what was the purpose of building it in the first place (it could be a mini story). What is your favorite thing to do during your favorite season. What would your ideal pet be and why would you want it/what would you do with it. (Can be completely fictional) How do you think the zombie apocalypse would start If you had the power to change three laws what would they be and why would you change them Who do you think will be the first female president of the United States Name a pet peeve of yours that your parents do What is something about yourself that you like and why If you were to change the school menu what would it be (give an option for each day of the week) If you were to be a famous person what would you want to be famous for. Name one object that you can’t live without. It cannot be a living thing it has to be an object. should the weekends be longer or shorter and what days shut the weekends take place. explain your answer If you were stranded on an island with one person who would it be. It does not have to be someone you know Hopefully in the future this will be helpful to me.

Deserted Island

I am here. On an island with know where to go. It’s been two months in what feels like solitary confinement. It’s kind of stupid how I got here. My parents, who are filthy rich, wanted me to go in nature and put me on a boat and told me to have fun. As you can tell I am not having fun. Me not knowing how a boat works, I forgot to tie it to the dock and fell asleep while floating away at sea. My boat stayed intact, but before I fell asleep I may or may not have taken it on a joy ride, so now I have no fuel. At least this island is not completely useless. It has coconuts and palm trees so I can have prunes; although I hate them. The island is Filled with trees although I don’t know how they survive. There are some birds that come from time to time but other than that it’s deserted completely. The water round the island is clear so I know i’m well out of sight from home, but I couldn’t have been napping too long since it was still day, so I would assume I did about four hours of floating. Since being on this island I’ve developed a routine. I wake up out of my boat bed. Then I grab some coconuts and make myself a breakfast. While eating my coconut, I make an SOS sign out of sticks and rocks. Then I take my afternoon nap because there’s not much you can do on an island. Once I wake up from my nap, boil take some salt water and to make salt, and catch myself some fish with an island kit that was provided with the boat, and I seasoned my fish with a little bit of salt because I will never be bland. Luckily there are multiple types of fish in the area and there’s a really pretty coral reef. I usually grab salmon or a catfish because I know those aren’t poisonous. In the island kit there are flare gun, a knife, canned food (i’m saving it for a time I really need it), A sleeping bag, band-Aids, rubbing alcohol, gauze, and a rope. I don’t really understand why we need a rope on an island, but it was given. After I eat my lunch and make a fire because it starts to get dark and I get cold. Then do a little prayer for someone to find me and I go to bed and repeat. Some days I do a little swimming or walk along the shore to kill time. And that is how I’ve so far survived on deserted island.

The Wisest Wizard

In the series Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling Albus Dumbledore, a very wise wizard, says “Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, when one only remembers to turn on the light.” To me this quote means that we are in charge of our own happiness and even when everything seems dark we can find a positive. My mom says that it takes a lot more energy to stay angry than it does to let go. Of course I don’t listen and stay angry, but sometimes it does feel draining.
